I have to confess that this is a challenge for me. Yup, quite a challenge. You may want to know why…:P
Well, it`s because I have never done this before. It`s not about me writing, because I did write before, too 😛 so I am well relaxed in this regard…:D
The challenge comes from the part that says: It`s Monday. You need to write something new on your blog and send email to your list of people. And you have to write something quick, as time is ticking…”
Ok, now, you do realize how this sounds to my lovely muse?:D It`s like shouting at loud to her:” You better come here, and help me out as we have work to do!” Hahaha!:-)
Well, not quite like that: D but something close that, at any case…:-)
But you know what? I always believed that stepping upon new territories will push your limits, will always expand you and lead you to your evolution… Well then, since evolution is the prize, I`m willing to take the challenge as it is evolution that I`m seeking! It`s not easy, though, have to admit.
As I`m writing this, the little voice in my head doesn`t forget to whisper: Are you mad? Are you totally out of your mind? Nobody will read the nonsense you`re writing right now! And you know why? Because it`s not something planned, it`s not something you`re familiar with and you`re about to make a full of yourself! and so on and so on… Does this ring a bell to you?:P
The voice can be tiring at times, but I am willing to go beyond, and just follow my soul and this is what I`ll do. I am creating this article from scratch, and I`m curious to see where the words will take me:-)
To make it even more exciting, leave me your comments & thoughts on it after you`ll read it…
This should make me nervous enough…:D Therefore, please, do so…:-)
Going back to my article, I sense a feeling of joy while typing on the keyboard. I like it, really..:-) It`s not a strong feeling, rather a shy one, but it`s there… This is what that matters, and I`m sure it`ll get stronger as I carry on with my writing:-)
Oh, writing… I love it so much!:-)
I have no idea where it takes me, but it is surely taking me somewhere, in spite the fact that I have no clue about the destination… 😀 I believe this is the beauty when it comes to writing: one can never know where they`ll be taken to, but without a doubt, there`s a destination planned for them… and the only way to discover this destination, is through… writing:-) No other way, if you ask me.
As I`m adding more and more words to this article, there`s another feeling that comes, knocking at my door: the feeling that all is well, the feeling that I can trust my muse, that my writing knows its way and it`s not making any mistake, that I can relax and simply go with the flow of the words…Wow, this is quite amazing… amazing experience…:-)
The voice inside my head is more silent now, too, as it doesn`t need to figure out anymore what & how I`m going to write the article… It is at peace now, and lets the words take over…
This is really great..:-) 🙂 I am glad..:-)
I guess this was the destination meant for me to discover today… The destination that is filled with peace and well-being, where my mind relaxes and my writing is totally self-expressed… I like it…:-)
Now I know that even without a specific theme, I still can write, still can pour letters onto the paper, as it is these very letters that run the show, that they are the only guidance I need to follow…
I shall keep this in mind:-)
Don`t know if I succeeded or not, but I am glad I “accepted” the challenge that presented itself to me today..:-) Thank you…:-) I needed it…:-)
Hope you`ve enjoyed my little sharing, and always have in mind that your soul is greater than your mind, that it knows better the path you need to be on. Therefore, relax, relax, relax…:-) and do what you love…:-)
Much love & let me hear your insights !:-)

Hi Cristina,
I just read your blog 🙂 Your English is very good! I am glad your muse is cooperating and whispering in your ear lol 🙂
I noticed your latest blog is written in your native language. It looks very pretty 🙂 Some of the words looked a little similar to Spanish. Is Romanian a Latin based language?
We could take turns writing something in English, then you could put the same thing in Romanian and I could write it in Spanish. Might be fun and maybe we could each learn a little of another language? 🙂
Let me know if you would like to try 🙂
Hey, Lance:-)) Good to hear from you, my friend:-))
Thank you, Lance, for appreciating my English:-)) I feel really great knowing that it`s good!:-) I mean, I do am aware that my English is ok:P, but it surely feels terrific whenever I get feedback such as yours, Lance:-)) Therefore, a big Thank you! to you!:-))
Yup, I`ve been having this inner nudge to write posts on my mother tongue too, Lance, don`t why why. But this was one strong nudge, I`ll tell you that!:-)) I said to myself that I better listen to it, and do what my soul tells me to. Hence, I wrote this first article in Romanian and posted it here, making myself the promise to post articles in English on Mondays, an in Romanian on Fridays. This is how I feel it should be done:-)) I love the English language, I really do!:-) and am happy and grateful for being able to talk English in a fluent manner. But, at the same time, I need to pay tribute to my mother tongue as well, for this is the language I learned first:-)))
Yes, Romanian language is a Latin based language, Lance:-))
Your idea is brilliant, Lance, and I look forward to getting started soon!:-)) I enjoy very much the Spanish language, and even know a little bit from it:-)) I watched many tele-novellas so far!:D
So, whenever you wish to start, let me know, Lance!:-) I`m so excited!!:-)))
Take care, my friend:-)) and thank you for dropping by:-))
Cheers!
Cristina
Cristina,
Sorry it has been a couple of days since I stopped by your webpage.
I am glad to hear you are agreeable to the language lesson exchange 🙂
Yes, I went on Wikipedia and looked up the Romanian language after leaving you that last message. It appears that it is commonly believed that Romanian was originally derived from Italian, but that as time passed the surrounding Slavic people influenced the Romanian language a little.
This is good news for me! I love to watch Italian horror movies and am always surprised at how similar it is to Spanish. ‘Ayudame! Ayudame!’ the Italian woman in distress will scream-is exactly the same as ‘Help me!’ in Spanish.
When I watched the episode of Anthony Bourdain’s show No Reservations on the Travel Channel where he went to Romania, his Russian friend that accompanied him kept saying something in Romanian to the people that they would pass by. It sounded suspiciously like ‘ Buenos Dias’, but just a little different. Maybe you can share with me how you say ‘Good Day’ or ‘Good morning’ in Romanian 🙂
Okay, let me know if you want to continue these lessons here on your website or if you prefer a different venue.
Spanish will be a good language for you to learn if you ever plan to visit the United States. Though English is still the dominant language here, Spanish is rapidly overtaking English and I would not be surprised if almost half the population either can speak Spanish or both English and Spanish. Most all signs are posted in both languages now. I hear that Mexicans have started moving into Canada as well.
I live in San Diego County, which is near the Mexican border. Most of the western United States used to be a part of Mexico and so most of the names of places are already in Spanish.
Okay, que tenga un buen dia-which is Spanish for ‘I hope you have a good day’ 🙂
Nos vemos (We’ll see each other later)
